To cope with the changing world around us, our brains must constantly adapt themselves - reconfiguring an incredibly complex system moment by moment, in order to produce flexible behaviour. I develop and use innovative brain imaging techniques to examine this processes, focusing on the way in which critical frontal and parietal brain regions process different types of information. I am also interested in using brain imaging to study language abilities in children with Autism who do not yet speak. I use neuroimaging (fMRI, MEG and EEG) and behavioural techniques.
